What is the Period of Hire?
The period of hire period is usually Friday to Monday; which is charged at one day’s hire only.
1-3 days – standard one day hire
4-5 days – one and a half days’ hire
1 week – 2 x hire
2 weeks – 4 x hire
Further hire period charges are POA.
Do your prices include a Return Dirty service?
Yes, all of our Prices quoted include a return dirty service which means you simply return the items in the boxes supplied and we wash them once collected. The minimium order charge to qualify for the free return dirty service is £100.
How much do you charge for Delivery?
All deliveries incur a £1.50 per mile charge, which is charged one way from our warehouse location in Watlington.
What happens if no one is present for delivery?
If you cannot be present for the delivery then we will deliver all items and leave a copy of our delivery note along with the equipment so that it can be counted and checked at your convenience. However please notify us of any discrepancies/ broken/ missing items within 24 hours of the delivery otherwise you will charged for their loss on your final invoice.
What happens if we are not present when you come to collect?
We will always try and find a convenient time to collect the goods where possible but it is not necessary for the hirer to be present on collection, however all goods are left at hirer’s risk.
Who is responsible for the equipment once delivered?
The responsibility of the catering equipment once delivered remains the responsibility of the Hirer.
Can I add additional items to my order?
Yes. Additional items can be added upto 48 hours before the delivery, subject to availability.
What happens if we break items?
Breakages occur sometimes. You will be charged for broken item(s) at cost price.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled at any time in writing by Email or Post and must be done within one week of the event taking place or full payment will be imposed for the event hire. Requests to cancel an order must be acknowledged by Every Event Catering Hire Ltd.
Can we collect our order?
Yes, our warehouse in Watlington offers on site parking and a loading/ unloading bay, so please collect from us if you wish.
Do your prices include VAT?
All prices shown on our website, quoted by email or verbally over the phone are excluding VAT.
Do you have a minimum order value?
Yes; all orders under £20 will be automatically made up to a total of £20 excluding VAT. Orders under £100 do not qualify for the return dirty service, and are not offered for delivery/ collection either.
What size table linen should I order?
Please see the links for linen sizes for a variety of round tables and trestle tables.
Table linen must be returned to us in the bags supplied, and must be in a dry condition ready for collection. Any linen returned to us damp or wet is therefore liable to mildew, and if this happens the replacement cost of the cloth will be charged for.
Do you have a terms and conditions for hire?
